Konak Hotel Taksim - Istanbul

Surprised in the best way!

An enchanting experience awaits! The staff's genuine hospitality stood out. The location was unbeatable-just a short walk from all the vibrant attractions. The breakfast? A good spread! Clean and cozy room, perfect for winding down. I can't wait to visit again!

Location was great, right in the middle of city centre. Clean comfy rooms, nice bathroom, contemporery design..

Breakfast wasn't up to expectation, a few choices really!!. Pimps & prostitutes are very common around the hotel and you have to ignore any invitation to go with them because they will just rip you off. A guest at the hotel actually accepted their invitation and they took him to a private bar where they started putting drinks on his table without asking him, he thought he was a guest and started drinking!!, they also had the menu filipped upside down so he doesn't see the prices. Later on when he wanted to leave they brought him the bill and it was a shocking 600 Euros for 4 drinks!! and he had to pay it, even the police said it's legal because they had the prices on the menu......i think this is the only drowdown for the location.

We really enjoyed the place and amazing and rich breakfast in it.

Had single room with a balcony and wake-up service was available in it.

The staff offered excellent service. The room provided a cozy atmosphere, made it easy to relax after a long day. Having a view of the city enhanced our experience further. It really added to the charm of the visit.

The check-in process took longer than expected.

It was a good base for exploring an exhilarating city along with my adult son, and the breakfasts set us up for the day.

The noise from the road meant one couldn't have a window open at night, and I found the bedroom too warm at times.

It was a perfect hotel with new-fashioned rooms and well-mannered staff.

the air conditioning barely worked. but the staff was quick to respond to my needs. the room was clean and spacious. loved the convenient location near Taksim square

The room didn't correspond to "superior doble room". There were even no table and a chair.

The vintage decor in the lobby gave me a warm feeling. Plus, the accessibility features were thoughtful, ensuring comfort for everyone, including seniors like me.

More comfortable seating in the rooms would be helpful.

I found my home in Istanbul :) Hotel is centrally located in Taksim.The rooms are clean and well furnished. Buffet breakfast is delicious and excellent.The staff are very helpful and cheerful. Hope to see you again for my next trip.

1- size of room is small for 4 stars hotel 2- The airconditioning of the room is fixed on worm temp. and cannot be made colder even with the help of their technician.3- there is no electrical socket for the La[top or phone charger, 4- The room and the service does not worth the high price ( 299 Euro/night) 5- As I was not comfortable I tried to check out 2 days earlier than my booked departure date but I was told no refund can be given and the whole fees will be charged. 6- During the Breakfast there were no enough glasses or cups and customers have to wait to get a glass for the juice or cups for the coffee.

This place suits me perfectly! Great wi-fi, friendly 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar/lounge area. On my first stay, the staff helped me find my lost ring, a memory I cherish. I'll be back for a holiday!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and I liked the balcony. Breakfast was plentiful and provided good basic Turkish food.

The only thing I didn't like was the juice at breakfast - please, please use real fruit juice!
